Mayor Annise Parker was the first openly LGBTQ mayor of a major American city. She has been a tireless advocate for LGBTQ causes and was named by TIME Magazine in 2010 as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.

Ali Brown is a small business owner and nonprofit executive. After a lifetime of standing tall for others, Ali is serving her first term as Indianapolis City-County Council, focusing on making real change in her community. From her activist work with organizations like Freedom Indiana to her efforts connecting people with new careers as a workforce development nonprofit executive, Ali has dedicated her life to empowering people and lifting up her community.
